Over a decade, we used to indicate "References Available Upon Request"; however, in today's job world, this is no longer needed because it is assumed that every interviewee will have two to three references to an employer. References should never be listed on a resume - instead, they should be presented professionally on a matching page that compliments your resume and cover letter. Send two to three names of your references which may include supervisors, colleagues and coworkers, former employees, mentors and advisers. Your resume writer will ensure everything matches your resume package to give you that polished look.
